European Courses and Modules

From Spring 2014, the Department of Social Work in Aarhus invites exchange students and practitioners to take a full semester consisting of two consecutive modules taught in English:

  • Children and Families in the Aftermath of Disasters – Social Work Responses
  • Conflicts and Social Work

Both modules are aimed at students of Social Work as well as related professions, e.g. Nursing, Social Pedagogy, Social Education, Teaching, Law, Human Resource Management, Public Management and Economics.

The modules are offered to bachelor students and to practitioners with a particular interest in cross-national and cross-disciplinary approaches to disaster responses and to conflict resolution in various contexts.

Information about the new modules and application forms are now accessible through the webpage (link above).
